I've photographed Cooper's Hawks at Mud Lake before (although this year they are hiding behind too many branches...) but I had not seen them at Fletcher. This morning there was a pair seemingly collecting twigs etc for a possible nest.
They were there for a good while until a dog walker with 5 noisy dogs walked under them. They took off for parts north. The area is not the usual spot for dog walkers, but always someone.....
Hopefully they'll come back.
I'm not sure which is male and female, although I took a guess in the video
